Intermediate Clay Sculpture

Prerequisite: ART 400 (Clay Sculpture) with a grade of "C" or better
Hours: 36 hours lecture, 54 hours laboratory
Description: This course is an intermediate class in ceramic sculpture techniques and methods. The course will include glazing, surface treatment, and various firing processes used in clay sculpture. Focus will be placed on in-depth examination of contemporary ceramic sculpture and three- dimensional design. A field trip is required.
