ASG Constitution
We, the Associated Students of Sacramento City College (ASSCC), do hereby ordain and establish this Constitution to:
2. Represent student interest in the operation of the college.
3. Provide communication between the students, staff, faculty, community, and administration, enhancing the shared governance process.
4. Advance our common interests and concerns as students at the College, District, State and Federal levels.
5. Promote cultural and ethnic diversity to the entire college community.
6. Provide services and coordinate activities for the entire student body.
7. Promote student involvement in the total college community.
8. Encourage student responsibility and self-governance and assume the powers and responsibilities granted to us by the California State Legislature, Assembly Bill 1725, and all State and Federal statutes.
