Decision-Making


The purpose of the Associated Student Government is to encourage student participation in the governance of the college, a concept called participatory decision-making which was passed into law in 1990.

You do not have to be an ASG member to serve on an SCC standing committee. Indeed, all students are encouraged to become involved in campus wide development and decision-making processes through joining SCC standing committees.
