Associated Student Government

You've all heard about it - from the Business Office when paying for your classes, or over the phone as well. This money is managed by the ASG for the purposes of advocating and lobbying for students' rights at the local, regional, and national levels.

The representation fee is MANDATORY BY LAW and all students are expected to pay the small $1.00 Student Representation fee at the time of registration - a small price to pay for the protection of your rights and services.

Some services/rights include/have included:

·         Making sure services are offered to all students.
 

·         Advocating at the State capitol. 

·         Participating in other lobbying events on behalf of Sac City students.

·         Protecting student rights to convene in clubs.

·         Participate in decision-making processes - such as the standing committees

The representation cost can be great, but we know that it is well worth the cost so long as students are benefited.
