Interactive TV / Web Stream Courses

• An Interactive Television Course:
• A live classroom presentation broadcast on Comcast or Surewest Cable. Students may attend by coming to class or viewing the class at home. Off-campus students use the telephone to participate in the live class

• Classes are also recorded for later viewing in the Instructional Media Center.


• All ITV courses are posted to the Streaming Archives on the web in windows streaming media format for later viewing. Audio MP3 podcast files are also available for listening or download. This archive is maintained as a service to students who need access to the course material for review purposes. Visit the archive for more information.

• Comcast Cable or SureWest Cable
• Telephone
• Computer and Internet access for Blackboard if required by instructor
For access to the ITV Archives:
• A computer capable of playing Windows Media Player (.wmv format) files is necessary to view streaming videos.
• A computer with speakers or a connection to an MP3 player is necessary to download/listen to the MP3 podcast files.
• A high-speed internet connection is recommended.

• Log in as destudent and also use destudent as your password.
