A Televised / Video Rental Course combines professionally produced video programs with a limited number of on-campus meetings for review and testing. Some courses may be combined with an online support site accessible via the Internet.
How to View Course Videos
TV with Comcast Cable (Sacramento system)or Surewest Broadband (programs are broadcast weekly)
OR
View the videos on-campus in the Instructional Media Center at any time, free of charge OR
DVDs are available for rental from the Instructional Media Center at a minimal charge, currently $20 per series for semester-length rental. Video rentals must be processed in person at the IMC. No advance reservation is necessary.
Note: Computer access may be required by the course instructor.
Mandatory Orientation Session Most telecourses require a mandatory orientation session. This session may include
- explanation of course policies and assignments as presented in the Course Syllabus.
