 A Televised / Video Rental Course combines professionally produced video programs with a limited number of on-campus meetings for review and testing. Some courses may be combined with an online support site accessible via the Internet. Link to Telecourse Outlines

How to View Course Videos

  • TV with Comcast Cable (Sacramento system)or Surewest Broadband (programs are broadcast weekly)
    OR
  • View the videos on-campus in the Instructional Media Center at any time, free of charge
    OR
  • DVDs are available for rental from the Instructional Media Center at a minimal charge, currently $20 per series for semester-length rental. Video rentals must be processed in person at the IMC. No advance reservation is necessary.
  • Note: Computer access may be required by the course instructor.

    Mandatory Orientation Session
    Most telecourses require a mandatory orientation session. This session may include
    • explanation of course policies and assignments as presented in the Course Syllabus.
