AJ302 - REACTION PAPER OUTLINE

Double-space type your reaction papers.  Ensure proper spelling and grammar before submitting your paper. 

Page # 1 must be a title page – include your name, class name and word count- (no title page deduction of 5 points)<o:p></o:p>

Record your word count on the bottom (right-hand corner of your title page.  You can find word count under ‘tools’ on your computer’s tool bar.

Last page is the reference page.  Title of film, year, & producers are necessary (no reference page deduction of 5 points)

1.  1500 words minimum (deduction of 15 points if less than 1500 words)

2.  You will be describing the movie… – “CRASH”

3.  Identify key figures of the film (by name) – also, identify relationships in the film (scenarios and situations jump around quite a bit in this film – so be clear about who, what, where & when)

4.  Identify key events, issues, circumstances of the source...what stood out to you as memorable, controversial, interesting in some way (there are many)

5.  Summarize your response to the film...how did you feel, think, react to the source...what solutions or other outcomes would you recommend or have preferred?

You may also share a small personal comparison about your life and the film if it is relevant.  Please so not use more than one personal note.
