What about Health Insurance? You do not need health insurance for any of the services that Health Services provides. However it is recommended that domestic students (i.e. citizens or residents of the United States) obtain health insurance. Health Insurance information is available at our office or by calling (916) 558-2533. Or you can log onto www.somerton-ins.com for the special rates for Los Rios District students. International Students are required to have Health Insurance coverage during their enrollment at Sacramento City College or any of the Los Rios District colleges. Registration holds are placed on all international students until proof of insurance is provided. Proof of insurance should be presented to Pat Cousin at the Health Services Office. Phone: 558-2533.
