Meet Professor K. R. V. Heningburg!


KRVH#1:

Occupation: Tenured Professor at Sacramento City College; erstwhile Ph.D. Graduate Student UCDavis History Department.

Interests – United States History with an African American Emphasis; Civil Rights Movement; Native American Studies; Ethnic Studies.

Education: Associate Arts Washtenaw Community College, 1980;

BA, History and Social Science : Eastern Michigan University, Magna Cum Laude, 1992;

MA, US History: Eastern Michigan University, 1994;

MA, African American History, Native American Studies: University of California-Davis, 1998;

Ph.D., African American History, completion: expected in the future.

Professional & Academic Organizations:  Lifetime member of Phi Alpha Theta, Stoic Society, and Golden Key National Honor Society.  Member of the Organization of American Historians.  Multiple recognition by "Who's Who Among America's Teachers."  Recognized by "Who's Who Among American College Students." I am the Ethnic Studies Coordinator at Sacramento City College.

Family: Happily Married, five children, four grandchildren.
