Bb - Important Dates

May 1, 2007 – All courses on the Bb system will be copied over to the fresh install.

What does this mean?
1. The existing system will still be available for use until the end of the semester.
2. Any changes you make AFTER May 1 will NOT be reflected on the new system on June 5. These changes will be preserved as an archive at the end of the semester.
3. So, try to make needed changes to existing classes that will be used for Summer and Fall 2007 either before May 1 or after June 5.

May 29, 2007 – Last date to download your gradebook from Blackboard or access Bb system.
All courses will be archived to keep in storage on this date but you should download and store your gradebook on your own computer.
May 30 – June 4, 2007 -- Blackboard down for maintenance
June 5, 2007 - Blackboard server back up with copies of all courses from May 1, 2007.

Instructors can begin making modifications for Summer and Fall sites.
June 7, 2007 - Summer students uploaded to Blackboard sites.
June 11, 2007 – Summer semester begins.
