Export your gradebook as an Excel file for complete control. I add a column to display only the student id numbers. Select the B column, Insert > Column. Now the student info is in column A. Now add this function =RIGHT(A2,8) in B2. Check that only the student ID number shows up. Now select from B2 to Bx - the bottom of your student list. From the Edit menu > Fill > Down. All the ids are now in column B. Enter the grades for each student, and construct your formulas to sum the points.
Control Panel > Gradebook > Download Gradebook
Bb Instructions The gradebook has been saved to a file. To download this file to your computer, follow the instructions below. 1) After saving the file, open Microsoft Excel or a similar program, and go to the File menu. Select Open. On a Macintosh, this may be the only way to open the file, as the system may not automatically associate the saved file with Excel. 2) Locate the directory where the file is saved and double-click the filename (the file is named gb_export.csv by default.)
Download Tip: When downloading the gradebook, you may want to save it to a more permanent location, rather than the default location. This will help you locate the gradebook more easily once download is complete.
