The Spring 2007 Course Request form is an Adobe Acrobat form. You will need the Acrobat Reader to complete the form and submit your request. Your computer is probably already configured with Acrobat Reader and you will be able to fill-out and submit this form. If your computer does not have Acrobat Reader you can download the free Acrobat Reader here.
Acrobat Reader is required to complete this form because of the scripts behind the buttons and fields. The form might open in a web browser -- if the Choose College from this list button does not show a list - STOP and download the PDF file to your hard drive. Open it in Acrobat Reader. When Reader opens the file, it will warn you the form information cannot be saved, but the form will really submit your request through the following Internet process:
- Confirm you have Adobe Reader 6 or 7 (Tested for Windows and Macintosh)
- Download the request form to a new folder on your hard drive
- Fill out the page with your contact and course information information
- Click the Submit to DB button to send your request to our database.
Features of this request form and process:
- New fields become visible depending on the type of your request
- Multiple requests can be submitted in serial fashion with the Next Request button
- Print a reference page with the Print This Page button
Before starting to complete this form, log in at - Inside OGS so you have easy access to your course information. If your class type is Online or Hybrid, please have your Orientation date, time, location and your web site URL handy because the form will ask for this information for the Online & Hybrid Courses Orientation Web Page.
- Also, log into Blackboard to the Courses tab view so you can see the Course Title and the Course ID. (Hint: Course ID is a unique file name for your Bb course, it looks like this: college_email_COURSE300.)
If your computer does not Acrobat Reader installed consider using another computer that does have it. Stop by the SCC New Media Lab in LR 110 for assistance.
Our Winter Blackboard Schedule includes the Blackboard 7.1 System Upgrade.
