Turn It In - Blackboard |

Turnitin is a new feature added to Blackboard. (You can also use it independent of Blackboard!) The district has recently purchased a contract with Turnitin. Com which allows all faculty to use this plagiarism detection software. They have also purchased a special Blackboard integration which makes it even easier to use for students and instructors via Blackboard course sites.
English professor Ann Lewis was eager to use TII with Bb after using it independly, here is what she said: "I will be using this tool for the next writing assignment for my English 302 students--and for the rest of the semester for both 302 and 300. This will be soooo much easier than having to provide my students with a course ID and password and/or submitting all of the papers myself." If you have been using Assignments or Surveys in Bb, you will notice the TII item on this pull-down menu.
If you are struggling to find the TII item, try this: The Bb HELP tab has information for faculty on using TII. If you are an existing Blackboard instructor, use the link below for specific instructions for using Turnitin.com via Blackboard. You can either submit student papers yourself or have your students submit them via Blackboard to Turnitin. You can choose whether students (or only you) can view the Originality Reports from Turnitin. These are also available in Blackboard.
