As you can see, you will first learn the techniques for writing specific types of paragraphs in an out of class environment, where you have more time to work your way through the writing process. All of our classroom activities/lessons will be designed to help you learn the important concepts you'll need for writing successful paragraphs.
Then, once you have the learned the "concepts," you will write a paragraph in class. This activity will (a) reinforce the lessons learned for the earlier paragraphs and (b) provide you wish lots of timed-writing practice, something that can be difficult for students until they learn the techniques.
