FASHN 372-Pattern Making and Design
This course offers an introduction to the flat pattern method of
apparel design. Students will develop/refine a personal sloper from a
commercial basic pattern. This sloper will be used to create various
full size patterns and a student designed garment. Pattern making
techniques will be perfected with 1/2 or 1/4 size patterns. Students
will learn how to combine pattern design variations to create new
designs. This course may be taken twice for credit.
