What is an Aggregator?
An aggregator is a software program that compiles subscription information, and regularly checks for updated content on websites you have subscribed to. There are different types of aggregators available, and many can be downloaded for free. Some aggregators run as a standalone program on your computer's desktop, while others run inside of other programs (such as your web browser), and some are embedded in web pages, such as Google or Yahoo! and can be easily customized.
How to Subscribe using iTunes
(The name "iTunes" is owned and is a registered trademark of Apple, Inc.)
1. In the Podcast Directory page, right-click on the button for the department (podcast) subscription feed, then select “Copy Shortcut” (Internet Explorer) or “Copy Link Location” (Firefox/Netscape).
2. Start iTunes. (PC or Mac versions of iTunes can be downloaded for free here.)
3. From the “Advanced” menu, select “Subscribe to Podcast.”

4. In the “Subscribe to Podcast” window, right-click in the text area, select “Paste,” then click “OK." This will activate the subscription within iTunes.

5. Click in the "Podcasts" area within iTunes to view your podcast subscriptions.
iTunes will default to downloading the latest episode of each podcast subscription automatically. If you want to listen to additional (published earlier) episodes, they will be listed with a button that says "GET." Pushing this button will download that prior podcast.
