Web-based content editing has it's challenges. First on my list is the narrow field of view -- one page at a time in a tiny box. So I like outlining in a word processor, flushing out the outline with heading (title) and details (text). Then copying from my text file into the stories. Did I mention that spell check is not available in the browser? Another tip for website development will sound familiar: Use two browsers, in IE, for example, login as a site editor and in Opera/Mozilla/Netscape view your site as visitors would see it.
Overview of strategies
Use multiple windows to look at your original website, your Manila website, and your favorite online HTML reference.
In your Manila website, construct stories to match content areas of your original site. Add additional stories if time allows. The online manual has help with Editing and Creating Stories.
