Service-Learning Courses
SCC Service-Learning courses vary by semester, however can be offered in any discipline. Look through the class schedule (either online or in print) to find a course that has the words "Service-Learning Class" after the description of the course. Each course designated as a Service-Learning course will give you an INDIS 340 (beginning in Fall 2007) registration code linked to the course you are looking at, and will allow you to register for one unit of INDIS 340 Service-Learning .
You can also find the Service-Learning courses for a particular semester listed on the Service-Learning page (alphabetical by "s") in the print and online schedule of classes. It is usually after "SI" sign Language.)
In addition, there will be printed flyers outside RS282 in plastic holders and website updates, which list all Service-Learning courses. Contact coordinator Pam Flaherty at 650-2940 if you have any questions.
Each one of these courses will allow you to add a Service-Learning unit, by providing you with a separate Service-Learning code in the Service-Learning course description.
