The Staff Resource Center offers a number of excellent opportunities for the flexible and independent learning of all staff. The events and resources on our campus help to satisfy the needs of each individual's career, and result in higher performance levels, increased self-esteem and better service to our students. Our activities and events also provide a disciplined revitalization of professional direction and focus. We continue to advocate and pursue quality staff development by integrating state-of-the-art resources that foster and support success.
What We Offer
The Center web site is updated on a regular basis with links to our events calendar, the current Flex Days schedule, and other information. Links are also available to Los Rios District Staff Training, the Cultural Awareness Center, and the Learning Resources Division. We are currently working on creating online forms for proposing and evaluating SRC programs.
Workshops and Events
The Center invites informative, well-qualified guest speakers to our campus to address the needs and interests of classified and certificated staff. Workshops are given both throughout the academic year and during our regular Flex Days at the start of each semester. Programs include workshops and presentations to enhance teaching effectiveness, visiting scholars from throughout Northern California, professionals with expertise in a variety of areas from our own campus and from the outside, arts performances, computer technology workshops, book discussion groups, and other activities designed for staff development.
