Human Services 370 - Introduction to Individual Tutor Training
This independent study course focuses on the role of a peer tutor and the methods of effective tutoring. It is required of all tutors in the Learning Resource Center.
Human Services 371 - Tutor Training Practicum
This is a tutoring practicum course designed to provide tutors with practice in individual and small group tutoring under instructor supervision.
Human Services 373 - Introduction to Group Peer Tutoring
This course is desinged to familiarize the student with the role of a tutor and the methods of effective group tutoring. This course emphasizes collaborative, interactve approaches to learning in a group setting. This is the tutor training course for Beacon Learning Assistants.
