Internship Program

The Sacramento City College Internship Program has as its goal the preparation of students for careers in their majors.  Specifically, this program prepares students to enter the workforce by serving as interns and student assistants.

SHOCKING STATISTICS!
  • Nationwide, 70 percent of all internships convert to jobs
  • Nationwide, 70 percent of all employers expect students to have completed at least one internship before the student graduates
  • Nearly 98 percent of all jobs are “hidden:” these jobs are never publicized!
(Statistics taken from the Department of Health, Education and Welfare and from Robert Half and Associates' nationwide employer survey.)
