"I am very excited to share this news with you. Throughout the semester, I have really tried my best to apply the new things that I've learned from the assignments that the class has done. I felt that I was doing a wonderful job at work. For a while I somewhat felt as though my work was unappreciated; however, I did not discontinue doing what I considered to be "going above and beyond" my job duties. On November 12th I was surprised with becoming the Employee of the Month & I never knew that I'd been nominated. I was very happy, and if felt really nice. I felt as though it was a wonderful way of being told that you are appreciated, especially since there are over 220 employees where I work.
